Happy Birthday Aleta

My co-worker's birthday is on Sunday so this is the card that I made for her. Everyone in the office will sign it so I didnt put any well wishes on the inside. I will get everyone to sign it today and Friday and then put it on her desk during her lunch hour Friday. Pattern paper is Rustic Chic from TAC. All images are from TAC. Hope everyone had a great Wednesday!

Peave, Love and Faith

This is a quick card I made tonight so that I had something to post. :) I made it using one of TAC's new sets.I also used primad flowers, brads, and versamagic ink.

My daughter had a volleyball game tonight and they won! Actually the first game wasnt much of a game. They won 21-1 and the second game was 21-13. They have lost their last 2 games so they needed a win tonight. Tournaments are coming up in the next few weeks so I hope they do well.

OK, let me see if this works...

OK, for the card I made below I got the idea freom Beate John's Fresh and Fun Blog. She does such awesome work!!! I would copy her stuff everyday if I could. :) OK, I think I learned what I wanted to learn so that the actual link doesnt appear in the post. Thanks Angel!

Can someone tell me how to...

Add links to my blog posts? I posted one in my last post but I see others that post them without the link showing. It is just words like "Angela's Blog" and not showing the link. Can someone share with me how to do it?

Time to think about.....

Christmas cards! I have to start thinking about them early or they just dont get done! :) I saw a card on Beate John's blog the other day and I absolutely fell in love with it! I didnt have any of the supplies so I had to work with what I did. http://beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/ I used images from TAC, cardstock from both SU and DCWV. I dont think I like this on as much as I like Beate's but I will work on it. I definitely need different ribbon. I like the look of the satin ribbon but I didnt have any. I will work on it some more until I am happy with it. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Once again, it went too fast!

Happy Birthday....

It was my bosses birthday on Wednesday. My co-worker called me at 7am on Tuesday and reminded me to make a card. Yikes! I threw this together in 10 minutes using stuff I already had out from the last card I made. I think it came out pretty cute in such a short time. I used images from TAC, cardstock from SU and pattern paper from Basic Grey.

Thank you Vickie

I am on a yahoo group that we do challenges twice a month and exchange cards. This past challenge we did the rock and roll technique and this is the card I received from fellow TAC demo Vickie Todd. Although I am not ready for winter wishes, I think this card is adorable. Thank you Vickie!

Rock and Roll

Good morning to everyone. Its bright and early on Tuesday morning. :) Its about time to get the kids up but thought I would post eal quick. This is a card I made for a challenge on a yahoo group. We did the rock and roll technique. I used TAC's retired Daisy Delight set. This was my favorite set at one time and i used it all the time. So I thought I would pull it out for this card. I used Palette Hybrid inks and SU cardstock. I went for a fall look and think I achieved it. I hope everyone has a great day!

Sunday Night Football...

Who doesnt love football season!!! We all wait from Super Bowl Sunday until now!! And when the Patriots are playing, its even better! I know, I know, lots of you are saying booooo but you have to stick by your team through it all! That includes the bad! Right now, they are showing there stuff, as its 14-0 in the first.
It was a busy weekend and they never seem long enough. I never get everything done that I need too. But I did find a few minutes to go down to the basement and make this card. I used TAC's "Love and Joy" set. I really like this new set. I also used pattern papered from Basic Grey and SU cardstock and ribbon. The saying is a little crooked but I didnt have time to make a new card for so I could correct the saying.

Well, time to get back to watching the game. And its time for Rock of Love so I will be flipping channels for the next hour. :) Have a great evening everyone!

Its been so long!

It seems like its been forever since I have posted!! I have been so busy since going back to work, its crazy! My daughter made the volleyball team so I have been busy with that. Tonight they had their 3rd game and finally won!! It was so exciting!!! I was SO happy for them. I wish the 8th graders would have also won. It would have made for a complete night. Then tonight we had back to school night at my son's school. Its always fun meeting all the teachers and seeing what they do with their day.

I dont know if I have shared this card or not. I have been so busy that I havent stamped even one new card in the last 2 weeks. Isnt that sad? I made this card for a funshop that I had back in July. They made this as their make n take. I used TAC's Rose Garden stamp set and a saying from TAC's Oopsie Daisy set.
