Happy Fall...Card Candy Card to Carole

Good Morning everyone. Well hopefully its a good morning. It certainly wasnt a great night. Ever deal with a 14yr old that thinks she is going on 20? Well thats what I did last night. I wanted to definitely wring her neck last night!! SO tired of 14 yr old "I know everything, you know nothing" attitude! Anyway, this is the card that I made for Carold using the card candy that Deb sent me. I didnt use all the pieces. I was selfish and kept those for myself to make another card. :) I wasnt generous like Ami and made 2 things. :) She has received it so I can post it. I love the fall so Deb's card candy was great to work with. Have a good day everyone!!

Ami's Card Candy Card

So, the Oct. 1st challenge on our yahoo group was to make card candy and send to someone. The October 15th challenge is to make a card with the card candy that you received and send to another person. Ami had to send a card to me and this is what she made me. She made me a card and a tag. Didnt she do a wonderful job??!! I think so. Thanks Ami!

Happy Birthday Khloe

Yesterday was my friend Shannon's daughter's birthday. She turned 7. I gave her this card with her present on Sunday. She had her party at Chucky Cheese. What adult doesnt love that place? Yeah right! But it was a good time. All the kids had loads of fun playing games.

Sunday's Game 3-1

What would Monday be without a football post? I can not bring myself to disappoint Ami and not post. New England beat San Fransico on Sunday!! YAY!! Now they are 3-1. Not doing too shabby without their star! :) On to next week against the San Deigo Chargers. We play Sunday night football! Thas exciting!

Chalkboard Card

I posted previoiusly about the chalkboard technique that we had to do as a challenge on a yahoo group. I posted the card that I received. Well this is the card I made to send to Penny.I used images from TAC. Danni will be happy. :) Cardstock is a mix of SU and DCWV. Ribbon is from Paper Trey.

OK so the random facts about me:

1. I love to play volleyball!! From April to October you will find me on the court every thursday night.

2. I am a smart ass. Oops I cussed. :)

3. I love to pull pranks on my co workers. The best is bringing in wierd bugs from outside and putting them on my co workers desk. She screams every time! Fun times!

4. I can be a scatter brain. :) Always have to have a to do list or reminders on my phone because if you tell me to do something and call me back in an hour, I will have forgotten. Really, its bad.

5. Some know this but I have to touch all the light switches in my home before leaving. Also have to make sure the coffee pot is unplugged and the cord set on the 2nd canister on the counter. I am scared of fires and this makes me feel better. And yes I have to actually touch the light switches even though I can SEE the light is off.

6. I have a thing about 40ft boats. I want one really bad. HA! :) Hi Jason!

7. Hmmm, my favorite resturant is Bandido's. :) Love Mexican food!

Debbie sent me this great card candy as part of October's challenge on the CTRU group on yahoo. Next I have to make a card using these pieces and send to another person. Love the fall theme of the card candy since fall is my favorite time of year.
