Happy Harvest

This is a card I made for a challenge on a yahoo group. I used the fossil stone technique for the background. Very, very easy to do! And it makes for a cool background! Cardstock is Bazzil, images are TAC. I used the SU scalloped punch and 1 3/8" circle punch.

Well, its been a LONG time!

Well, its been a long time since I have been able to post. Back on Oct. 11th my 9 yr old son went into the ER and ended up staying in the hospital for 5 days! He has never had breathing problems in the past and no asthma. This turned out to be his first asthma attack and it was a severe one. It took him those 5 days to be able to keep his oxygen levels up in the high 90's without the help of O2. So I have been playing catch up ever since and my blog has suffered.
This is a criss cross card I made for a challenge on a yahoo group. Its my first criss cross that I have made. I messed up the scoring a little bit but in the end, it all worked out OK. I hope the recepient likes it! :) One more challenge card to do today and I think I am caught up. I will post that one as soon as I have it complete.

Think Pink Postcard

Here is the quick postcard that I put together fo a friend at work. This is so she can send out reminders to ladies to get their yearly checkups. I didnt do much to it because I want her to only have to put the .24 cents on it. Hopefully she likes it.

Card for my SIL

I made this card for my sister in law who is fighting breast cancer. I bought this new stamp set from My Favorite Things
just so that I can make her some cards. I thought I would also make some postcards for a friend at work that likes to remind everyone about getting their yearly check ups. In the stamp set, there is a stamp that says "Just a Reminder" which is perfect for the postcards.

Everyone loves blog candy, right? Well hop on over to Andrea's blog and check out her blog candy she has going right now. You can help brighten a family's day and earn some great stuff.

October is here.....

Good morning all! Hope everyone is having a great week so far!! My friend sent me some images of Witchybella and I love her! Halloween is my favorite so I love working with her. I made this card using the items that I sent in for a card kit swap on the yahoo group for Bella addicts. I colored her in with watercolor pencils and my blender pen. Hope everyone has a great day!
