So they are on their way to 19-0!!! And that Giants game was not an easy one for them! They really need to quit being a 4th quarter team. Dont they know that I am sitting at my friends house while she is cheering the Giants on because she doesnt care who beats them, she just wants someone too? I do have to say that after watching most of the other games yesterday, this game was by far the best one. And not because I like the Patriots. Its because both teams played their best. What was up with Indy and the Steelers yesterday? The Colts pretty much handed the Titans the game! It was not fun to watch. The Browns should be going to the playoffs! But they arent because the Colts handed the game to the Titans.
Rest up Pats, you have some tough games ahead of you, but you can go all the way!

Sorry Ami....I had to post this....
I really am sorry to be posting him AGAIN Ami but I have too! They won again! I still need to go read up on the highlights since it wasnt aired here but I know they won. :) So that is now 14-0! Rock on Patriots!! And after playoffs or the Super Bowl I wont post anymore until next season about football. :)
I went to the mall this afternoon with some girlfriends since my game wasnt aired and I chose to wore my Laurence Maroney jersey. I am telling you, people just dont like the Patriots around here. I got lots of funny comments from strangers. And my only response to them was "Dont hate them because they beat you." :)

1977...funny stuff
** This was a blog that my friend Keri posted. and while we both would probably LOVE to be able to take credit for it, it was actually an email that her husband had received. The original email doesn't give credit to the originator either so whoever this person is... i love you! it's quite possibly the funniest thing ever.
Last weekend I put an exhaust fan in the ceiling for my wife's grandfather. While my wife's brother and I were fitting the fan in between the joists, we found something under the insulation. What we found was this:
A JC Penney catalog from 1977. It's not often blog fodder just falls in my lap, but holy hell this was two solid inches of it, right there for the taking. I thumbed through it quickly and found my next dining room set, which is apparently made by adding upholstery to old barrels:
Also, I am totally getting this for my bathroom:
There's plenty more home furnishings where those came from, however I'm not going to bore you with that. Instead, I'm going to bore you with something else. The clothes.
The clothes are fantastic.
Here's how to get your butt kicked in elementary school:
Just look at that belt. It's like a boob-job for your pants. He probably needed help just to lift it into place. The belt loops have to be three inches long. And way to pull them up to your armpits, grandpa.
Here's how to get your butt kicked in high school:
This kid looks like he's pretending to be David Soul, who is pretending to be a cop who is pretending to be a pimp that everyone knows is really an undercover cop. Who is pretending to be 15.
Here's how to get your butt kicked on the golf course:
This "all purpose jumpsuit" is, according to the description, equally appropriate for playing golf or simply relaxing around the house. Personally, I can't see wearing this unless you happen to be relaxing around your cell in D-block. Even then, the only reason you should put this thing on is because the warden made you, and as a one-piece.
Here's how to get your butt kicked pretty much anywhere:
If you look at that picture quickly, it looks like Mr. Bob "No-pants" Saget has his hand in the other guy's pocket. In this case, he doesn't, although you can tell just by looking at them that it's happened - or if it hasn't happened it will. Oh yes. It will. As soon as he puts down his matching coffee cup.
Here's how to get your butt kicked at the beach:
He looks like he's reaching for a gun, but you know it's probably just a bottle of suntan lotion in a holster.
How to get your butt kicked in a meeting:
If you wear this suit and don't sell used cars for a living, I believe you can be fined and face serious repercussions, up to and including termination. Or imprisonment, in which case you'd be forced to wear that orange jumpsuit.
How to get your butt kicked on every day up to and including St. Patrick's Day:
Dear God in Heaven, I don't believe that color exists in nature. There is NO excuse for wearing either of these ensembles unless you're working as a body guard for the Lucky Charms leprechaun.
In this next one, Your Search For VALUE Ends at Penneys.
As does your search for chest hair.
And this -- Seriously. No words.
Oh wait, it turns out that there are words after all. Those words are What. The. HELL . I'm guessing the snap front gives you quick access to the chest hair. The little tie must be the pull tab.
Also, judging by the sheer amount of matching his/hers outfits, I'm guessing that in 1977 it was considered pretty stylish for couples to dress alike. These couples look happy, don't they?
I am especially fond of this one, which I have entitled "Cowboy Chachi Loves You Best."
And nothing showcases your everlasting love more than the commitment of matching bathing suits. That, and a blonde girl with a look on her face that says "I love the way your junk fights against that fabric."
Then, after the lovin', you can relax in your one-piece matching terry cloth jumpsuits:
I could go on, but I'm tired, and my eyes hurt from this trip back in time. I think it's the colors. That said, I will leave you with these tasteful little numbers:
Man, that's sexy.
And this -- Seriously. No words.
Man, that's sexy.

Just for Bevabella..
OK, Ami this doesnt count as my one football post a week! This is for Bev! I dont know why the Steelers helmet looks like that. Dont their helmets have their symbol on them? But anyway, its Bev and I this Sunday? Who will come out on top? Will the Steelers be able to stop the Patriots? Out of the games they have left, I believe they have the best chance. Why I think that, I'm not sure. But I am still hoping for a 13-0 after the game! :)

Good morning everyone!! I woke up to lots of snow! Yuck! Its the first of the season so it should be fun driving to work! I made this card last night but didnt get a chance to post it. Yeah like I could go to bed....
Yeah I promised I tried to go to bed in the middle of the 3rd, right after Brady got sacked for the 3rd time in the game!!! I couldnt fall asleep. all I could think about was the stupid game! I turned the TV back on with 44 seconds left, right before the Patriots scored their final touchdown. But in no way clenched the game. They still almost lost it! But they held them off and remain undefeated! GO PATS!
Joy and Wonder...
Hi everyone. This is the card I made last night when my camera was acting up. Images are from TAC and also PaperTrey Ink. Hope you enjoy!
I have decided to go to bed now in the middle of the 3rd quarter if the New England game. They are down right now by 7 and I am just not going to watch this anymore, lol! I honestly dont want to watch them lose to the Ravens who are 4-7! So I will just check the scores in the morning and pray for the best!
Have a good night everyone!

You have to settle for this....
So my camera keeps messing up on me so I am just going to share the picture of my new nose ring. I have a card to share and will do that if my camera will corporate with me tonight. My friend and I went and got our noses pierced the day after Thanksgiving. We were a little scared that it would hurt but it really didnt. I was relieved!! :) So right now I have the "stud" in there and in a few more weeks I can change it. I bought some extra small nose rings this weekend that just lay flat on my nose so it will just look like a little sparkle resting on my nose. The one in the right now isnt big at all and looks cute but I cant wait to change it to a smaller one. And before anyone asks, no, nothing gets caught on it in there. There isnt a back on it. The post is curved so it just lays against my nose. :)

Pink and Brown Take a Bough
Good Saturday evening everyone. I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I braved the mall today. Normally I try and not do that during the Christmas season but I had to get some gifts out of the way. I also needed to look for a clear retainer for my new nose ring. I didnt know we werent allowed to have them at work! Ooops!!!! So I needed to get something that you couldnt see for during business hours. Luckily I was able to find one.
I made this card using PaperTrey's Take a Bough set. You can find it here. I think this is my favorite set for making my Christmas cards this year. I wanted to use non traditional holiday colors so I chose pink and brown. Enjoy!
